Passionate supporters of the actress are urging that a man who jumped a barrier and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared footage shows the person identified as Johnson Wen shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo immediately wrested the surprised performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram recently that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records indicated that he was set to appear on the next day. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

History of Event Invasions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has invaded a concert or event. His Instagram account contains videos of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the pop singer's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," commented an Instagram follower, in a message to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Past Trauma

Several followers criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said another response on Instagram.

Some attendees also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while others requested digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande seemed startled when she was approached by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.
