Legal authorities report that a former physician stands accused of performing sexual assaults involving 38 individuals who were under his care.
Details of the Grave Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous sexual offences – some of which involve acts against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
A senior prosecutor said, “Legal teams have worked at length to assist a detailed and complex investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the public interest.”

These allegations follow what police called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

The charging documents said the 45 charges include:
- 15 counts of sexual assault.
